Blue cross over 3 months old loves eating the ground up mix provided. Almost looks like a smile on the face along with some food. Walking by the creek yesterday I heard something fall in the water and then heard some pops. I quickly grabbed my fishing pole that was already rigged and cast out. On my second cast I landed this nice large mouth for this tiny creek. Tossed it back in to keep getting fatter and it appeared to be eating quite well. Pretty cool stuff what passes through this narrow creek.
My first albino blue tegu is doing quite well and is growing nicely. It is now about 2.5 months old, keeping up with it's siblings in growth. I have let it out in the sun with an enclosed hide under a tree to supply ample shade for a few days here and there, but primarily have kept it indoors. The others I kept back are also growing and doing well some tend to have better vision than others.
With all the rain we have had lately the creek which is normally very still and low is high and flowing. It's a nice change and the sound is very soothing. Only issue when trying to relax near it are all the mosquito. Here's the YouTube video link: http://youtu.be/pQ3RmWIkuYE |
