I went to check on the blue tegu eggs in the incubator this morning and went from being relaxed to crazy excited. To my surprise one large albino baby tegu amongst some other very dark siblings. This came from a female blue who is actually the mother of last season's blue cross tegus, and the father was a blue tegu from Ty. Hopefully this very rare creature grows to be a beautiful healthy tegu.
They are captive bred and born from a pair I raised from babies. See breeding pics for more photos. These guys are showing awesome color variation already and should be some sweet looking adults. They are $225, plus shipping I use FedEx Priority overnight. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Checked the incubator this morning to see some baby black and white tegus. These little guys are already eating crickets right out of the egg. They are very curious little creatures tentatively inspecting and licking. Click here to see pictures of the parents.
Just showing contrast between a female blue cross tegu to this deep red male tegu. |
