As you can see from the mound of rocks in front of the hide, the female blue tegu was hard at work preparing the nest for her second clutch of the 2020 season. This is not very common in my experience, but this season two separate unrelated females produced two fertile clutches. This is not something I was trying for but I am hoping it indicates I provided the proper environment for life to flourish. Every year I question myself as to what I can do better and will continue to do so, but it is nice to see direct results of your efforts.
Baby red and blue cross tegus hatched out last week. We hope to hatch out many more blues, albinos and hybrids. I will be updating the available page in another week or so when they are ready to be shipped. I will also try to add a PayPal button as per customer request.
